Mr. Sascha Simkanich – Sascha_J_Simkanich@mcpsmd.org
Mr. Simkanich graduated from The Pennsylvania University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education (K-6). Mr. Simkanich has a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University in Technology for educators and his Administration and Supervision Certificate 1 certification from McDaniel University.
Mr. Simkanich has been teaching since 2001. He taught computer science at the Argyle Middle School technology magnet program and at Sligo Middle School before coming to Clemente Middle School. He has been a 7th grade team leader at both Sligo Middle School and here at Clemente. Mr. Simkanich had the wonderful opportunity to be the elementary technology coordinator at Escuela Campo Alegre International School in Caracas, Venezuela and brings a global perspective to RCMS. He is excited to be a part of the Upcounty Center Math/Science/Computer Science Program planning and designing interdisciplinary lessons and projects to maximize student creativity and enrichment.
